1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Moatscope (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Moatscope provides AI-generated research, summaries, and portfolio insights for educational and informational purposes only. Moatscope is offered as a subscription service with a free tier and a paid Pro tier.

3. Not Investment Advice

Moatscope is a research and educational tool. Nothing provided by the Service is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security or other financial instrument. AI-generated scores, summaries, and insights are estimates produced by machine-learning models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should consult a licensed financial professional before acting on any information provided.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $19.99 through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account page; access continues through the end of the paid period, and we do not issue prorated refunds. See our Billing Policy for details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell outputs, interfere with the Service's operation, or use it to violate any law.

7. Intellectual Property

Moatscope and all associated content, software, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial research.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moatscope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
