CHANGELOG

What has shipped.

Dated. Factual. No roadmap theater.

    Portfolio Moat Profile

Pro users can now view a composition report on their saved holdings — a weighted Portfolio Moat Score, quality mix, theme concentration, single-name concentration, discovery profile, trajectory mix, and a strictly descriptive portfolio read with structural observations. Every metric is deterministic math on your entered weights and existing Moat Scores; nothing is a recommendation to change your portfolio.

    Moat Trajectory

Every analysis now includes a Moat Trajectory reading — building, stable, or eroding — with a 0–100 score based on observable business-structure evidence like signed offtakes, granted licenses, and capacity under construction. It describes the direction of the moat itself, never the direction of the stock.

    Editorial pass

Landing rebuilt around a live example of a real Moat Score, added a Methodology page and this changelog, tightened the footer, and animated the gauge on first view.

  • 2026-07-08
    Portfolio import from a screenshot

Snap or upload a brokerage screenshot; tickers and weights are extracted, validated against market data, and reviewed before they save.

  • 2026-07-07
    Portfolio-Adjusted score

Every lookup shows the standalone Moat Score next to a Portfolio-Adjusted score that shifts ±15–25 points based on overlap and diversification versus your holdings.

  • 2026-07-05
    Price & The Street

New card with current price, a 52-week range, analyst consensus targets (median / high / low with implied % delta), and current valuation vs. the company's own 5-year median.

  • 2026-07-03
    Financial Position card

TTM revenue, growth, margins, cash and debt, and next-year consensus estimates, sourced from Yahoo Finance with FMP as a fallback so every listed ticker fills in.

  • 2026-06-30
    Computed Radar Score

Still Under the Radar is no longer an AI guess. It's a computed score from analyst count, institutional ownership, and 30-day news volume, cached with the rest of the analysis for 7 days.

  • 2026-06-24
    Moatscope launch, custom domain

Renamed the app to Moatscope, moved to moatscope.app, and shipped the founding-member offer: the first 25 Pro subscribers keep $9.99/mo permanently.

  • 2026-06-20
    Compare Candidates and Portfolio Fit

Compare 2–4 tickers side by side with a factual 'how they differ' note, no winner picked. Save a portfolio to add sector-overlap and risk-character notes to every lookup.

  • 2026-06-15
    Initial launch

Five-dimension Moat Score with a plain-English summary and risk note, watchlist, and a 3-lookup-a-day free tier.
